This workshop is a combined training for forklift safety and dock/warehouse safety.  

This workshop is designed specifically for personnel involved with daily operations, including management & supervision of warehousing and docking areas.  Anyone who oversees or participates in the company’s Safety & Health Program can benefit from this workshop.  This workshop will help employees identify and abate many common hazards found in warehousing, including forklift operations, dock safety, material storage, applicable PPE, fire prevention and protection, electrical safety, housekeeping (walking/working surfaces), applicable machine guarding, and more, including common health-related hazards. Upon completion of the class, the attendee will receive a certificate of completion. 
 
This educational class cannot be used in lieu of the required training by law. Employers must ensure forklift operators complete the training and evaluation specified in OSHA regulation 29 CFR 1910.178(l).
