UTCIS and the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce are hosting workshops across the state for continuing education. Join us for the Internal Auditor Training!
Designed exclusively for current and future members of your internal auditing teams this three-day workshop will give participants the knowledge and skills needed to audit your quality system to the IATF 16949:2016 standard.
Course topics include IATF 16949:2016 requirements, quality core tools, customer- specific requirements, auditing principles, and techniques for conducting effective audits.
Participants will also get hands-on practice using auditing tools and techniques to:
Objectives
This course meets all OEM Customer Specific requirements for Internal Auditor Training.
Participants will be provided a copy of the IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems Requirements for training purposes only. All copies must be returned to UT CIS instructor at the conclusion of class.
Course topics include IATF 16949:2016 requirements, quality core tools, customer- specific requirements, auditing principles, and techniques for conducting effective audits.
Participants will also get hands-on practice using auditing tools and techniques to:
- develop practical audit skills,
- enhance evaluation and communication skills,
- refine reporting skills, and;
- implement corrective action programs.
Objectives
- Explain the purposes of the IATF 16949:2016 standard.
- Describe the IATF 16949:2016 structure and elements.
- List the quality core tools and the purpose of each.
- Explain customer specific requirements and their function.
- Explain what is meant by a "process approach" and what the strategy of a process approach means for organizations.
- Explain basic principles, techniques, and steps for auditing to IATF 16949.
- Describe techniques for effectively working with others when conducting audits.
- Apply IATF 16949:2016 principles and auditing techniques to practice auditing to the IATF 16949 standard requirements.
