Women in Business Program & Luncheon 2022

The Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry invites you to join us for an exciting workshop and luncheon to celebrate the strength and power of women in business.

Keynote Speaker: Nikki Burdine
Nikki Burdine is the co-anchor of Good Morning Nashville but more importantly, she is a mom.  She is a native Tennessean, originally from Kingsport, TN but has lived in many different places throughout her career.

Prior to joining WKRN, Nikki was a reporter and fill-in anchor at WUSA9 in Washington, DC. She has also worked at WLEX in Lexington, Kentucky, WHAG in Hagerstown, Maryland, and also for the Washington Football Team. 

Nikki is #VFL and a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis in political science. She has an Emmy Award and several Associated Press awards. She was named as a winner of the UT Knoxville Alumni Volunteer 40 Under 40 Award in 2020.

Nikki and her husband, Justin, are parents to a baby girl named Andi born in May 2019. Andi has two fur-siblings – a rescue dog named Reggie White (yes, after the Minister of Defense) and a cat named Louis. 
 
Since Nikki’s daughter was born prematurely at 28 weeks and was considered a micropreemie, weighing just 1.4 lbs., Nikki is very involved with the Tennessee chapter of March of Dimes. 
 
Nikki is also the author of a children’s book, called Live Like Grunt and clothing line, “Knuckleheads,” inspired by her dad.
